Sometimes as a parent, when you just can’t get your son to flee the nest and they’re still living under your roof past 30, you need to exercise some tough love.
When your son is a ruthless mob boss, however, you probably want to stay on his good side. Not that Nadezda Krejcirova is much fussed, because she has just dealt son Radovan a massive blow in his bid to avoid serious jail time.
He is currently on trial for the murder of Bedfordview drug dealer Sam Issa, and with legal costs mounting things took a turn for the worse. IOL reports:
On Thursday, Krejcir appeared at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court for the extradition proceedings, but proceedings ground to a halt after his lawyer, Cliff Alexander, announced he had not been paid and was withdrawing as counsel…
Standing in stunned silence, Krejcir eventually explained to the court that because his assets had been put under a preservation order by the SA Revenue Service, he had approached the curator of his estate to request funds to pay for his legal fees…
However, outside of proceedings, two sources close to the case confirmed that while Krejcir’s mother Nadezda Krejcirova had been arranging the money to pay for his legal fees, she had chosen to no longer financially support her son in the courts.
Tough love ma – what’s next, he has to make his own meatloaf?
As the court drama unfolds (some of our more recent updates you should check out HERE, HERE and HERE) one thing is becoming increasingly likely – the only roof Radovan will be living under is whichever prison he ends up being sent to.
