It’s all fun and games staring out the window of the plane you’re travelling in (assuming you’re not in the ‘drinks tray firing line’ aisle seat), but we all know the best spot in the house is up front with the cool kids.
Now I’m sure the pilots spend most of their time focusing on passenger safety and operating the plane, but now and again they find time to snap a pretty picture or too.
The pilots at LOT Polish Airlines certainly have, and BusinessInsider managed to get their hands on the best of the bunch.
Let’s take a look, shall we?
Sunset over the Tatra Mountains en-route from Warsaw to Budapest, Hungary.
Storm at sunset over Germany during the flight from Warsaw to NYC.
Passing a Boeing 777 at cruising altitude. Thanks to the large zoom it was possible to catch the plane flying safely below the LOT aircraft.
Flight over southern Germany close to the Swiss border, on the route from Warsaw to Madrid. You can see the so-called ‘day-night line.’ On the right side, the brighter space is the last of the day; the dark side is the night.
The Bosporus Strait and city of Istanbul, Turkey during a night flight from Warsaw to Tel-Aviv, Israel.
On approach into London Heathrow from Warsaw.
That ‘day-night line’ one – wow, you’ve played out of your boots.
You can see all the rest of those aerial snaps HERE.
