Never before have we been privy to recorded footage like that coming out of last night’s Istanbul terrorist attack. Not only is there quite a bit of surveillance footage, but recordings from people as well.
Explosions rippled through Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport, caused by three suicide bombers, killing at least 36 people while injuring more than 147.
They had arrived by taxi before spraying bullets into the crowd, before they then blew themselves up.
Although there have been no claims from any terrorist groups, reports suggest the men are from ISIS considering Turkey’s latest turmoil.
Ataturk is Turkey’s largest airport and is the main international zone serving the country. All flights were suspended after the attack and Facebook put on its safety check.
