SPICY: Upmarket Durban Office Exposed As Porn Den

To its neighbours, the business in the office nearby was the site of a call centre. Now an insider has revealed it was something far more spicy.

Sitting pretty in an upmarket office park in Westville, an online porn den was about to be a thriving business until one of its very own gave it up.

“Chantelle” was approached by her boyfriend and asked if, instead of working at the hardware store, she wanted to do something different and earn money through online porn, earning up to R20 000 a month.

After doing it for a month, her and her boyfriend went to the offices to find them stripped. Here’s the story:

I had been working at a hardware store but I wasn’t enjoying my job. I decided to give it a try.

Chantelle had been recruited by her boyfriend (who would only identify himself as Shaun) who had met his employer while working at a bar.

He told me he was starting this business like one he had in Thailand and asked me to be a manager. He also asked me to help recruit girls for the website and when Chantelle was having a hard time at work I said she should maybe try it.

Chantelle would have to engage with people online by speaking to them through webcams, and then proceed into private chat rooms with a camera feed which bills the viewers’ credit card by the minute. The sites were jasmine.com and imlive.com, and in case you haven’t seen one before, here’s a snap:

The name of the owner is know to News24, but he had disappeared and taken their wages when they tried to contact him.

Get out while you still can Chantelle, or else you might just end up at a certain Bree Street institution.
