Iceland, a country with the same population as the city of Leicester, and now following in their giant-killing footsteps with a stunning come-from-behind win against perennial tournament flops England.
Last night they pulled off arguably the biggest upset in the history of the Euros, spawning a million shitty Brexit jokes and (I’m guessing) a few brawls outside the stadium in Nice, France.
Then there’s Gummi Ben, aka Guðmundur Benediktsson, the commentator who first shot to fame for his reaction to Iceland’s late goal against Austria last week.
