They say there is no such thing as bad publicity, but the imbecile who runs Sodwana Bay Guest House in KwaZulu-Natal is about to find out that isn’t always the case.
We’ll start with the email a certain Enki André M Slade sent to a prospective client, because that’s where this train begins to go off the tracks.
Here’s a screenshot of that email:
Let that sink in for a minute. You see that reference to Proverbs 29:2 – here’s what that says:
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn”
Nothing like a good Bible quote to try and justify blatant racism. But it gets better, because it turns out Mmusi Maimane has a story of his own.
TimesLive reports:
The DA leader called Slade a racist and urged the South African Human Rights Commission to fast-track an investigation into the establishment’s conduct.
”This matter is also personal to me‚ as the perpetrator has previously referred to me as a ‘beast’ and ‘little bastard’ in his online blog‚ revealing his racism in no uncertain terms‚” Maimane said.
So as the backlash against Slade gathers steam, surely he’s crawled back under his rock? No, he has come out swinging:
Slade stood by the email saying it was written in the Bible that black and white people should be segregated.
Can someone please forward information on how Penny Sparrow’s life is going right now to dearest Andre, me thinks he is in for a nasty shock.
