Google are generally regarded as a good employer to work for, and they’ve never been shy of spending when it comes to their offices.
Their new UK digs are located in King’s Cross, London, and the offices will eventually house 2 500 employees. Building is still ongoing, and at present 800 engineers are set to move in shortly.
The curvy staircases are the first eye-catching feature, but let’s take a run through what we’re looking at with the help of the Telegraph:
Meh, they’re OK and there’s still much to be done, but they’re no Cartel House. If you don’t believe us take a look at what’s on offer in the heart of the Cape Town CBD, complete with perks that best any club in Cape Town.
What perks you ask? Well for a start you can kiss sitting in a coffee shop, nursing your drink for the free WiFi, goodbye. WiFi throughout the building, no caffeine hoarding required.
A rapid-fire list to tickle your fancy – pool, rooftop bar, library, coffee bar, boardrooms for meetings, lounges on each of the seven floors, a concierge service – you’re starting to nibble aren’t you?
Talking of nibbles, how about lunch delivered to wherever you are in the building? Gourmet sandwiches, salads, soups to battle the winter freeze – choice is your friend.
We should also mention the state of the art gym that’s being built as we speak, complete with showers for those midday gym fans.
And ladies, or men who enjoy taking care of their hair, there’s a blow-dry bar for your luscious locks too.
We haven’t mentioned how you’ll have us in the same building – we’re kind of a vibe, you know.
Head over HERE and find out why office space and memberships are being snapped up.
