When you’ve been suspended by the Judicial Service Commission for being racist on social media you’d think you’d take a break from, umm, social media.

Not Judge Mabel Jansen though, because she seems to think it’s a good idea to vent on Twitter.

Newflash, it isn’t, and you really should lay off the liquor before you tap away with your idiotic hate-filled rants.

Monday night saw Mabel unleash 14 tweets that may just land her in hot water. They’re still visible down the feed on her account HERE, but let’s just transcribe what she said:

Who will define you? Nobody. Who will categorise you? Nobody. Who will you become? What you believe your value is. There are no excuses.

And those who wish to blame Apartheid or “colonialism”? Did you read what the Brits did to the Boers? Lord Kitchener’s scorched earth policy

To those who believe they have an entitlement? Nobody has. Nobody ever had. To those ” who took the land”? They never took it. They gave it.

So how many of you have your own original thoughts? Or do you need a WHITE person to tell you how to think??? Surely not????

Who gives a white person the right to speak on your behalf? In the past decades you have produced the most competent actuaries, doctors…

High time that you got your own independent voice. Your youth are super intelligent and highly competent. Speak for yourselves. You can.

Really. Stop crying victim!!! Have you looked at your children? Top of the class??? Stand proud!! Your children – you deserve it!!

For once – just once – look at the statistics. Be proud. You have raised incredible children. Support them. Nurture them. Take pride!!!

You truly have the most amazing children. Take pride in them. Move on. They are the future. All happy and motivated. Remarkable children!

Stand tall!! Your debaters, your students win top spots. Be proud and focus on that. They do not share your thoughts. They stand tall…

Why live in a culture of inferiority when your children live in a culture of superiority!! They take top place at schools and universities!!

Gosh!! You have done it against all odds! Rejoice!

Let us just close this topic. Everybody knows how well your children are doing. Everybody knows how accomplished they are. Enough said.

Stop self pitying. Give yourselves a pat on the back. Hug your children. Tell them how great they are.

You can pick and choose the most worrying aspects of her tirade for yourself, but as you can imagine Twitter wasn’t amused. Some responses from IOL:

Social media users lashed at her, accusing her of being racist. Among them was @Amandla-Mobi, who started a portal to petition the Judicial Service Commission (JSE) to remove her. “If we’re serious about creating a non-racist Mzansi (South Africa) then we would support the call to remove #MabelJansen,” he tweeted.

On Tuesday, the portal https://www.amandla.mobi/ showed that 257 emails had been sent to the JSC. A message on the site reads: “Send a message to the JSC to stop downplaying the racist Facebook comments by Judge Mabel Jansen, and act swiftly in removing her from her position.”

Another person, @new_afrika, demanded swift action against the judge: “Processes, processes, processes… the evidence is out there; just fire the racist Judge Mabel Jansen.”

@KsKhathi said: “Immediate actions must be taken against #Mabel Jansen. This tweet’s kernel underestimates our intelligence as blacks.”

Take some time away from social media, sleep off that three-day hangover and stop being an imbecile Mabel.
