Around this time last year, we shared with you some shocking aerial shots of raw sewerage being let out into the ocean along the Atlantic Seaboard.
You can read that HERE – that time around the story ended on a semi-positive note.
However, as with most things unseen, the protests died down. A year later the same man who shared those photographs returned to the sky, in an effort to see just what the City had done to eliminate the outgoing flow.
Once again posted on Facebook, the images have again caused outrage, although we know it will be short-lived.
Along with the above photographs, Marine Conservation Photographer Jean Tresfon posted his story on Facebook:
You would think that the City of Cape Town really understands the importance of keeping our city in a pristine condition, but alas, they only care about money.
But here’s some news for them: it’s going to be really costly in the long run if they don’t sort out their shit now.
OH, but the people in power now will be dead in the future, right? Okay, okay, Friday rant over.
