You can’t venture out onto the internet this week without seeing something about Muhammad Ali, which is why we’ve largely stayed clear of covering his passing.
That being said ‘The Greatest’ earned his nickname, and anyone who has ever had a fondness for heavyweight boxing will have seen the famous footage from his iconic battles with the likes of Foreman and Liston.
His nickname was also earned outside of the ring, his humanitarian work and unwavering dedication to championing the human rights cause perhaps his most enduring legacy.
Let’s not forget that wicked sense of humour either, evident in spades during his Candid Camera appearance from 1974.
