Say hello to Donovan Livingston, a Harvard man whose unique graduation speech has caused quite the stir.
Donovan was chosen to speak at the ceremony where he was receiving his master’s degree in education, and he used the opportunity to outline the ‘historic obstacles that have prevented African-Americans from getting an education’.
The Harvard Graduate School of Education were definitely fans, calling it “one of the most powerful, heartfelt student speeches you will ever hear”.
Give it a listen and you may well agree – if social media buzz is anything to go by Donovan won’t be short of a few job offers in the weeks that follow.
