According to some sources, Johnny Depp is worth around $400 million – thanks to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and other high-paying roles.
While Heard’s net worth is around a ‘meagre’ $9 million, another source claims she is only worth half of that.
The couple will be divorcing in California, a state that divides marital assets using the “community property” method. This means the judge divides the couple’s joint assets in half, although individuals retains inherited and premarital assets.
Apparently, in the year the two were married, Depp only made $30 million. This may mean a big pay day for Heard, who could definitely do with the money (although she should have waited for Through The Looking Glass to drop – $$$) and the new-found fame.
