Being involved in a plane crash isn’t something you would find on most bucket lists, which is why this is one of those Point Of View videos you would rather not be involved in.
The crash took place at Lodi airport in California on Thursday last week, the clip beginning with the plane approaching a field to make an emergency landing.
Mashable reports:
“We flew up, and then something happened. And then we’re landing, and everything’s crashing and everything’s rolling. And then boom, we’re on the ground upside down,” Yuri Garmashov [said]. “Everything’s dark. People start yelling, ‘Get out. Get out. Get out.'”
It’s not visible in the footage, but Cindy Martin claims the plane clipped her pickup truck prior to landing in the field.
“I saw a plane coming down right at us. And I told my husband, ‘That plane is going to hit us,'” Martin [said]. “Sure enough, it came right at us and clipped our back end enough to just really feel a good bump, and then it went out into the vineyard and flipped over.”
The FAA are still investigating, but for now watch that video below and watch out for some (understandably) bad language.
