The list of celebrities taking a verbal stand against the inhumane comments made by Donald Trump is steadily growing.
Just yesterday we watched Jennifer Lawrence pull the middle finger to the presidential hopeful, and today we find out that Angelina Jolie has said her fair share as well.
Speaking as a representative for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees on Monday, she addressed the remarks Donald Trump made in December about not allowing any Muslims into the United States:
To me, America is built on people from around the world coming together for freedoms, especially freedom of religion. So it’s hard to hear this is coming from someone who is pressing to be an American president.
Speaking about the refugee crisis at the BBC-hosted event, Angelina compared the situation to World War II, saying that we are now in “that once-in-a-generation moment when nations have to pull together.”
Unfortunately, no such luck when people are unabashedly bigoted.
