It turns out people are pretty keen to get their mittens on that saucy R10 000 reward we told you guys about earlier…
In case you missed it you’ll need to read through THIS first, an open letter bemoaning Bree Street restaurant The Nunnery operating as a brothel getting the ball rolling.
Ultimately property owner Percival Choritz has offered a R10 000 reward for anyone who can prove that the business is operating an illegal brothel, and we have now been sent a rather interesting insider look at what’s going on.
The email we received asked to have their identity kept a secret – here’s what was said:
Some time back a client who was in cape town on a trip wanted to go out to Mavericks on a Sunday night quite late. We took an uber to town and found it was close. He asked if there was another place and we were dropped at the venue in question.
We went upstairs and through a narrow section of passageways came to a bar counter, we had some whiskeys and he proceeded to one of the rooms. after about 5 minutes a group of about 8 – 12 girls paraded to the room. After selecting a girl payment was done at the bar through the credit card machine. I managed to see into the rooms most of which had a bed some funky design and a shower.
after about 25 mins he returned to the bar and we left.
This is all the info I have. if its not sufficient so be it however I know what I saw.
Now I think we should make something clear – we are not offering the R10 000 rewards ourselves, that is the decision taken by Choritz. Seeing as though he is a practising attorney, I’d hazard a guess he will require more substantial evidence before he forks over his prize money.
Anyone fancy dishing the dirt on what they’ve seen going on around this part of town? Email us at editor@2ovmail.com, let’s keep this ball rolling.
