One of the pitfalls of being a Hollywood celeb is all the crazies, like the stalker that has set his sights on Keanu Reeves.

The actor is so perturbed he has reported the man to police, the stranger turning up at his house with a package that referenced The Matrix movie franchise.

The package came in a FedEx envelope, with the rest of the story from NME:

According to legal documents, the envelope contained a phone number and a note reading: “I will call the cell provided tomorrow. We need to meet as I have already started building the new world. #masterbuilder”. The instructions make reference to a scene from the first Matrix movie, which Reeves starred in.

The report describes the man as an “obsessed” fan of the movie franchise who may suffer from a mental disorder.

Looks like someone took the red pill – maybe a word about the difference between movies and real life is in order.

Keanu isn’t against embracing a little strange though; he’s just written a book about shadows:

The book has been described as “a new collaborative series by Alexandra Grant and Keanu Reeves” which “explores the real and symbolic nature of the shadow as image and figure of speech”.

The book is, rather outrageously, called Shadows.
