Losing to Donald Trump is embarrassing, as much for the individual candidate as for the country of America.
As the Trumpster wrapped up victory in Indiana, all but securing the Republican presidential nomination, Ted Cruz decided it was time to throw in the towel.
He couldn’t even do that properly though, with this below from the Mirror:
…the defeat was even more painful for his wife, Heidi. After giving an emotional speech, giving up his dream of becoming leader of the free world, Ted gave Heidi a lengthy hug.
As he turned to share the moment with the rest of his family, he caught his wife’s nose with his hand. Then he chinned her with his elbow.
Can anyone remember a presidential race where all the candidates were so disliked?
It looks like this time around it really is a case of vote for the person you detest the least, so here’s hoping the U.S. comes to its senses before it’s too late.
