According to Oscar and close family associates, the black bags found near Reeva’s body were used to stem the flow of blood from the body. Interesting.

But experts Calvin and Thomas Mollett, who have looked over the evidence for their book ‘Oscar vs The Truth’ (here), say the whole thing is very bizarre. The roll of bin liners and tape,which were found near the body of Ms Steenkamp, were apparently used to stop the young victim from bleeding. Below sources claim:

Would any reasonable person really use a black bag to stop someone bleeding? It just make no sense, it is illogical.

Black bags don’t absorb blood, it is bizarre idea.

I’ve thought about why someone had brought black bags and tape to a dead body and what they were going to do with them, but in the end I really don’t know what to make of it.

The brothers are also looking into whether or not Oscar re-dressed Reeva. They claim that the vest Reeva was wearing when they found her body had very little blood on it and does not have holes matching her bullet wounds.

There is absolutely no sign of any hole in the vest resulting from the bullet wound to her hip – and the vest is a long one.

There is no sign of the bullet that struck her chest. And there is very little blood on the vest and it would have been really soaked with blood if she’d been wearing it at the time of the shooting.

Oh, Oscar.
