Since his death, we have been inundated with images of Prince’s Paisley Park estate – the compound where the music legend’s body was found. However, up until now the only images we have been privy to are of the cold, industrial-looking building from the outside. But what’s inside?
Well, the compound was actually one of the first of its kind. Designed by architect Bret Thoeny in 1983, the structure contains “two recording studios, a dance rehearsal hall, a performance space, offices, and even living accommodations.”
It was there that he recorded his music and movies. He also stored all his costumes so he would never have to go outside.
