April was a busy month for baristas around South Africa, the ever decreasing temperatures (and later sunrises) meaning a morning cuppa was often essential to set the wheels in motion.

As you will know our Badass Barista competition has been in full swing, and you guys haven’t disappointed when it comes to snapping your pics and sending them in.

One does stand out from the rest though, and it looks like there may be two happy chappies out there. The lovely email we received from Emma Hill then:

I’d love to enter the Barista Wines competition and submit my badass barista, Rob from Molten Toffee.

Between him and Geoffrey (also attached), they make an awesome team! They know our coffee order, it feels like you are a part of the family. As my colleague says “in such a big city, it’s a personal, familiar experience as if you live in a small town”. Rob always had a smile for you in the morning and is quick to sort out your Order- the coffee is excellent to boot!!

Thanks and hope they can win something together. 🙂

So you know how it all works from here, right? These chaps now have 24 hours to get in touch with us, although with tomorrow being a public holiday we’ll give them until midday on Thursday to drop us a line.

If they do not then Emma will take home the spoils, so if someone wants to give Rob and Geoffrey a tap on the shoulder and let them know your time starts now.

Just a gut feeling though – I think Emma might be sharing that wine with the boys.

All you have to do is spot a ‘Badass Barista’ (check HERE for some tips), take a picture and email it in to henk@2oceansvibemedia.com. We will select a winner each month who will receive two cases of Barista Wines – one red and one white. That’s 12 bottles valued at over R1 000.

Once we publish the monthly winning picture the barista in question has 24 hours to contact us and prove they are the person in the photo, in which case they will take home the wine.

You know you don’t have to be covert, you could just tell your favourite barista that you think they’re badass and ask for a picture. Who knows, maybe if you win you’ll split your winnings down the middle…
