Note to self – don’t ever try and fill up at a Shell garage whilst dabbling in some card fraud.
A Shell Ultra City in Middleburg is where it all played out, staff appearing to beat two men who attempted to pull a fast one on them.
eNCA reports:
The incident was caught on camera by a bystander who was told the victims were suspected of card fraud.
The staff members appear to incite each other to further violence.
One of the men is handcuffed and dragged into the men’s bathroom.
The manager claims the petrol station has been targeted by thieves for 10 years without any police intervention.
When contacted by eNCA, the manager on duty denied any knowledge of the incident.
Middelburg police said no charges had been laid.
