Over the weekend, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared a snap of him on a jet ski with his Baywatch co-stars Charlotte McKinney, Izabel Goulart, and Belinda Peregrin. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any sign of co-star Zac Efron.
The movie – set to be released next year and R-rated – centres on a by-the-book and very serious lifeguard (Johnson) who is forced to team up with a young rule-flouting hothead (Efron), in order to save their beach from environmental destruction at the hands of an oil tycoon.
Ooooh, how relevant.
While the original Baywatch was cancelled after its first season, it made a comeback and went on to air for a full decade before they called it quits. That was my childhood. Here’s the OG squad:
