While chaos erupts around us during that timely mid-week meltdown, it’s great to know that there are people out there that you can rely on.
Like 2ov for your Morning Spice headlines, your mom for returning your call, or the local barista for making that perfect cup of coffee to set your day off right.
Coffee is a staple to many and we think you should be honouring those who you chose to make yours.
Jason did it. He sent in the picture below along with this little snippet via email:
Hey there Seth
So this chick is the provider of my daily dose of caffeine (when she’s on shift) and I thought I’d give her some props. She makes a mean cup that’s pretty badass.
– Jason
Thanks, Jason. Pity you didn’t tell us where she is from so those props could go to some actual use. However, we dig your entry so we’ll add you to the list for this month’s Badass Barista competition.
Feeling a little left out? Here’s how you can get involved…
HOW TO ENTER:
All you have to do is spot a ‘Badass Barista’ (check HERE for some tips), take a picture and email it in to henk@2oceansvibemedia.com We will select a winner each month who will receive two cases of Barista Wines – one red and one white. That’s 12 bottles valued at over R1 000.
You can also use the #BadassBarista and tag @2oceansvibe on Twitter and Instagram to enter.
BUT THERE IS A CATCH…
Once we publish the monthly winning picture the barista in question has 24 hours to contact us and prove they are the person in the photo, in which case they will take home the wine.
You know you don’t have to be covert, you could just tell your favourite barista that you think they’re badass and ask for a picture. Who knows, maybe if you win you’ll split your winnings down the middle…
