Come now, this is the kind of behaviour we’re used to seeing from one of those Aussie Rules players, not a local ex-professional rugby player.
In the video above the man’s face has been blurred out to protect his identity ahead of legal proceedings, although here’s what we know from Sport24:
A 39-year-old woman was left with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain after being head-butted at a bar counter by a former Free State rugby player…
…the incident took place on April 8 in Bloemfontein.
According to the woman, the man spoke in a rude manner to a female bartender. She then told him his behaviour was not appropriate, before the man head-butted her.
I believe in that neck of the woods they call that a kopstamp.
A case of assault has been opened against the man, so here’s hoping the law dishes out some form of justice.
