Hello Monday you filthy cretin, I can’t wait to show you the door.
Of course not everyone dislikes the beginning of the week so intensely, and I’ll throw Jade’s name into that hat.
Here’s the friendly message that arrived in our inbox earlier for the Badass Barista competition:
Hello team 2OV,
Love what you do, been a reader for years and always come back. I took this picture over the weekend in the CBD, this guy always has a huge grin on.
I think he spotted me taking the picture but he didn’t say anything – maybe he knows and wants to win the wine?
Thanks for keeping me entertained.
First off flattery will go a long way Jade, it never hurts to throw a compliment our way.
Secondly your name has been chucked into the hat, quite near the top of the pile. Not that everyone out there should lose hope, it’s easy to enter and we’re a long way from the end of April.
Here’s how you can get involved…
HOW TO ENTER:
All you have to do is spot a ‘Badass Barista’ (check HERE for some tips), take a picture and email it in to henk@2oceansvibemedia.com We will select a winner each month who will receive two cases of Barista Wines – one red and one white. That’s 12 bottles valued at over R1 000.
You can also use the #BadassBarista and tag @2oceansvibe on Twitter and Instagram to enter.
BUT THERE IS A CATCH…
Once we publish the monthly winning picture the barista in question has 24 hours to contact us and prove they are the person in the photo, in which case they will take home the wine.
You know you don’t have to be covert, you could just tell your favourite barista that you think they’re badass and ask for a picture. Who knows, maybe if you win you’ll split your winnings down the middle…
