Please Enjoy The Highlights From The World Record For TV Binge-Watching – 94 Hours Without Sleep [Video]

Think you could watch TV for four days straight without sleeping? You're not alone, although it sounds a lot easier than it actually is.

We know that Americans love watching a bit of telly but sheesh, even by their standards this is rather intense.

Introducing the three New Yorkers who attempted to break the 92-hour record for ‘Longest Marathon Watching Television’, a record held by four Austrians.

There are of course rules to uphold, with these below from BusinessInsider:

Alejandro “AJ” Fragoso and Molly Ennis planned to watch back-to-back episodes of “Battlestar Galactica,” “Twilight Zone,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Bob’s Burgers” and more…

Rules include the following:

  1. Participants are not allowed to break eye contact with the television.
  2. Participants get 5 minutes of break each hour which accumulates over time if not taken.
  3. Participants are not allowed to engage in prolonged conversation (more then a few words.)

I think I’ll leave this to the pros, although all that stuff about hallucinating sounds like fun.
