It’s standard practice at an AA meeting to declare how long one has been sober, so with that in mind I can say it’s been over four months since I last slipped up and shovelled some fast food in my face.
There are a number of reasons for this, with general health being one. We should also be aware of the environmental impact chains like McDonald’s have on our planet, because this is a message often lost on the masses.
