Welcome to the unveiling of the worst kept secret in South African sport, Allister Coetzee set to be named as the new Bok coach.
Perhaps the biggest mystery is why we have had to wait this long to make it official, although those in the know say that Coetzee’s contract with the Kobelco Steelers in Japan meant some boxes needed to be ticked before the announcement could be made.
52-year-old Coetzee has experience with the Boks already, having assisted Harry Viljoen back in 2000.
