There’s nothing like a fresh juice to get you on your way. Whether it’s to give you a shot of energy before a run or cure a biting hangover, making juices in your own home is quick, easy and satisfying.
But juices have come under fire as they separate the fibre from the nutrients, which is actually an essential ingredient to your diet. So how do you get a juice, but with the added fibre? You must have heard of a NutriBullet:
With its patented blade design and unique cyclonic action, the revolutionary NutriBullet breaks down even the toughest ingredients (carrots, nuts, ice, etc.) into their most digestible, nutrition-enhancing state. Being a nutrition extractor or super blender, there is no part of the fruit or vegetable that gets lost (notably including the pulp). Incredibly easy to use, and to clean, the NutriBullet will transform your daily diet.
Sounds good, but what do we put in these juices? All too often I have created a juice with a little too much grapefruit, or not enough spinach, generally overpowering the flavour or undermining the amount of nutrients needed to be effective.
No worries, we chose five of our favourite recipes so that next time you attempt your juice you will nail it.
Don’t go out and buy bottled vegetable juice; this fresh and easy recipe is delicious, a little spicy, a little light, but still filling, and is a wonder Blast for weight loss. All the fruits and veggies are low glycemic, making a recipe for absolute veggie delight.
Basically, you add all the ingredients to your NutriBullet and blitz it for 40 seconds. Easy, right? And the best thing is you aren’t left with the pulp.
