Some are calling it one of the more damning public dressing downs Jacob Zuma has received, respected former Finance Minister Trevor Manuel saying the president should step down.
His remarks were made during an interview with Soweto TV, Manuel agreeing with the likes of Ahmed Kathrada.
Unfortunately those sentiments are not shared by the ANC, who yesterday squashed the motion to impeach Zuma during a Parliamentary sitting.
