Just when you thought Ryan Reynolds had decided to step away from the limelight along comes Deadpool, the anti-superhero movie that has crushed records at the box office.
Aside from the dark, twisted humour that has struck a chord with fans there’s also the amazing visual effects, although sometimes it’s kind of hard to separate fact from fiction.
That video above gives a rare behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to pull off some of these high octane action sequences, with this below from the YouTube video:

This is an in-depth VFX breakdown reel showcasing the behind-the-scenes efforts by the Atomic Fiction team. The work involved creating computer generated characters, vehicles, and an entire urban environment, for the thrilling car chase that kicks off this new franchise!
It’s a good thing it made so much money at the box office…all those VFX couldn’t have come cheap.
