And the circus rolls on…
This time Trump was in Dayton, Ohio when a protester stormed the stage. That’s not altogether unusual, except for the fact that DT thought he should aim for the rafters and claim that the man was somehow affiliated to ISIS.
Listen to his supporters shouting out ‘kick his ass’ and ‘kill him’, what a level-headed bunch.
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story right, with Donald tweeting this out:
Here he is justifying that statement as reported by the Daily Beast:
Trump’s defense of his comment was that if it is on the Internet, it must be real.
“No, no, no, no, he was,” Trump told host Chuck Todd. “If you look on the Internet, if you look at clips, he was waving an American flag… He was walking, dragging the American flag on the ground.”
Trump added that DiMassimo “was playing Arabic music,” (he was not, that was dubbed in by someone with access to the World Wide Web), and that “he had Internet chatter with ISIS and about ISIS.” (No law enforcement agency has ever claimed this.)
“All I know is what’s on the Internet,” Trump, who is on track to be the 2016 Republican nominee, said.
Well heck, if it’s on the internet it gosh darn must be true.
Another angle just for good measure:
Look at his beady little hands clinging to that lectern – oh how I wish the Secret Service had been just a little sloppier this weekend.
Donald Trump and his supporters, the third instalment in the Dumb and Dumber series.
