Sibling rivalry (what a band) is a real thing between offspring and sometimes parents make it worse by putting their achievements against one another. While at times you may play lekker, at others the universe is not interested in niceties.

The latter is basically what happened when a Pennsylvania judge, James Stocklas, and his bro, Bob, bought lottery tickets after they wrapped up a monthlong fishing trip in Florida. After the draw the following Wednesday, James was sitting having breakfast when he checked his numbers and realised he had just won the $291 million Powerball.

His brother won a mere $7.

Thanks, Universe. Let’s just hope you let Bob catch more fish.
