This little dude is going to put all you to shame – your sons have a long way to go. At only ten years old, Keegan Baker has a passion for the Zulu culture, and, according to his mother, has demonstrated his dancing moves in the KZN Midlands.
Bestowed the Zulu name Sandile by his family’s domestic worker, Keegan loves the language and “the way they do things” and wears his traditional gear as much as he can.
Now we have all bore witness to the proud tradition of privileged white out-of-their-prime men trying to kick higher than each other as Clegg’s Impi plays at 30ths, 40ths and weddings throughout the ‘burbs and Durban. Judging by the passion and determination as they pull hammy after hammy, this is no doubt a tradition they would want their spawn to excel at.
Well, while Keegan isn’t singing Impi – he has way more swag than that – your kid has a long way to catch up to this laaitie. After all, he got to sing with Ladysmith Black Mambazo back in 2014.
