Adele really does seem like a pretty cool cat, who despite her success still seems like the kind of lady you could kick back and chat a bit of shite with.

So in case everyone didn’t love her enough she ramped it up on Monday, that extra day the leap year bestows upon us. As is tradition Hayley had proposed to her boyfriend earlier in the day, although he had been kind of on the fence about it all.

Enter Adele, Hayley on stage and a whole host of peer pressure:

“You have to say ‘yes,'” Adele said, as the crowd began to boo. “After three everyone say, ‘Come on, Neil.'”

“You need to say a proper yes, bruv,” she added. “You have to say yes.”

Seriously. Come on, Neil.

Surprise surprise Neil bowed to the baying of the crowd, nodding his head heartily in agreement.

Will the singer be there to pick up the pieces a few years down the line? Probably not, although Hayley can always call on Adele’s music when things don’t work out.
