A man was shot in the head and killed after an altercation on Sunday with a police officer in Virginia, Free State, the policeman himself sustaining four gunshot wounds.
The incident took place at around midday, with that video above captured by two women on the scene. Here’s how News24 explains what happened:
…the incident took place near a supermarket parking lot in Virginia. According to an Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) statement the policeman was injured in the shooting and a man died.
The same statement asserts the policeman was accompanying a woman to her car, where her husband was waiting. “He was ordered to get out of the car and he refused,” it reads.
It looks like words were exchanged after the man eventually exited the vehicle, showdown then turning fatal when gunfire was exchanged.
