If you want to create chaos ask a gathering of seniors to describe their first job – I made this mistake once and I can tell you it wasn’t pretty. Apparently our generation has it easy, that’s basically the gist of of the conversation.
Now in terms of tough jobs being the President of the United States ain’t all that bad, even if you have had to spend your eight years in office cleaning up the mess the idiot George W. left behind.
Not that the hours aren’t long, but luckily Barack Obama learnt from a young age that putting your head down is a good thing. Mashable reports:
“Scooping ice cream is tougher than it looks,” Obama said Thursday in an essay on the LinkedIn professional networking site. “Rows and rows of rock-hard ice cream can be brutal on the wrists. … I was less interested in what the job meant for my future and more concerned about what it meant for my jump shot.”
The job at a Baskin-Robbins in Honolulu “wasn’t exactly glamorous, but it taught me some valuable lessons,” Obama wrote. “Responsibility. Hard work. Balancing a job with friends, family and school.”
Started from the bottom now we’re here – Obama 2016.
