Gingers are a rare breed over in South Korea, but even with that in mind the reception TV host Conan gets when arriving at Seoul’s Incheon Aiport is astounding.
He touched down on Sunday, the waiting crowd losing their minds as the 1.93 metre giant waved his arms around in a show of appreciation. Apparently the whole trip came about when one fan, Sunny Lee, sent him a letter along with a box of local snacks:
“Here is my motto, and I want this to get out all around the world: If you send me free snacks from your country, I will travel there in person to thank you. That’s what I do,” he told his audience.
True to his word, after signing autographs and posing for photos, he met the young woman and personally thanked her for writing to him.
Sure, that and the fact that the TV network who pay you millions are filming a special about the visit couldn’t hurt either.
