It’s that time of the year when Jacob Zuma delivers his State of the Nation address, and it seems that each year his back is further up against the wall.

We should be in for some entertainment no doubt, but SONA brings with the grinding to a halt of traffic in the CBD. It pays to know just which roads to avoid, we’ve all been stuck in the kind of traffic that causes blood clots before and there’s no need to go there again.

The City of Cape Town have released the full details on their site HERE – check them out and plan accordingly. If you’re smiling ear to ear because you ride on the MyCiTi bus like a boss wipe that grin off, some routes will also be affected.

Whatever you do be sure to watch the address and the ensuing fireworks. Something tells me there will be plenty of drama…
