OK, before we go any further can we be clear on two things. Our headline is sarcastic, no one with Cindy Crawford’s genes could ever look terrible. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, Kaia is 14 so let’s just congratulate her on what looks like a successful first major campaign.
High-end rocker-chic label Chrome Hearts have decided that Kaia is a good fit for the brand, having seen her work in the likes of Vogue and Teen Vogue. Daily Mail with more:
Make-up artist Vincent Oquendo said that he chose to go natural with Kaia’s beauty look because she’s so young.
‘I just wanted to keep her really dewy and focus all the attention around her eyes,’ he [said]. ‘I used a cream luminizer on her lids to create that sort of day-after-the-party look.’
He also used brown eyeliner and mascara to finish her off…’There’s no denying she’s her mother’s daughter, but she definitely puts her own stamp on it — it’s like Cindy 2.0,’ he added. ‘She’s incredible to work with — easy, excited and an amazing energy!’
One look at the pics and it’s plain to see what he means:
A quick snap of her with mother Cindy then:
Good genes indeed, which means we’ll probably be seeing plenty more of Kaia in the coming years.
