Politicians and Twitter, it must work one of two ways.
Either they are so clumsy at social media that they cannot help accidentally sending out the odd unintended photo, or somewhere out there is an army of hackers trying relentlessly to access their accounts and cause mayhem.
You can make your own mind up on the since deleted Fikile Mbalula tweet that blew up last night, so first let’s look at the tweet in question:
Of course Twitter went mal, Fikile then going to lengths to explain his innocence:
Not everyone was buying his excuse, some saying they smelled a rat the more he insisted:

Perhaps he was hacked, but if you’ve gone through all the effort of gaining access to Fikile’s account why stop at sending out one picture?
Maybe a certain Minister was looking at some late night inspiration before bed and hit the wrong button. Whatever the case we know one thing – someone is going to blame the DA.
