Now that Adam Driver has become famous through Star Wars the world is recognising him in places they’d never even dream of. Like this cat:
Quickly after the shelter cat found a home, he was adopted – obviously – as his internet-based fame soon rose. Who got the cat? Well one on-beat executive-editor at Elite Daily who missioned across New York City to fetch the feline before someone else did.
I didn’t adopt Corey because he was going viral on the Internet. I adopted him because I loved him.
I call bullshit. She didn’t even know him. Gosh, fangirls are the worst.
She even went to far as to create him an Instagram account under the handle catam_driver and renamed the cat Kylo Ren, after – you guessed it – Adam’s character in Star Wars. She’s currently hoping the actor will reach out for a photo opp with his doppelgänger. And she “loves” the cat. Pfffft, sure.
I love Kylo for so much more than his Internet fame. But give the people what they want, right?
No one wants anything more from Kylo, only you do, chick.
