It would be fair to say that 2016 hasn’t got off to the best start with regards race relations in South Africa, the fires being stoked by a series of social media posts that have no place in this country.
In the wake of a rough start to the year Mmusi Maimane has delivered a speech on race and identity in the DA and in South Africa. The speech, delivered at the Apartheid Museum in Jozi, can be seen in full above with Maimane addressing the crowd from just before the four-minute mark.
