Now and again North Korea releases footage from a Kim Jong-un address to the people, a real song and dance being made as the crowd clamours to shower the dictator with love and adoration.

Then you see the official Donald Trump Jam, performed on Wednesday at a rally for the Supreme Leader in Florida, and you begin to lose faith in the Western world. You want some lyrics? You got them:

How about that clapping in the background? The crowd is whiter than a Mumford and Sons concert, although the majority seem to have reached the age where they have now become senile.

Surely that’s the only way to explain what I just watched?
