Oh, what people will do for love. This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday and what better way to view your loved one than to take them out for romantic dinner.
Long-time veterans of the love game, HQ (who host a weekly date night on Tuesday) will be opening their doors, inviting fiancés, first dates and love-sucks singles to relax with great company and eat delicious food.
Normally closed on Sundays, HQ is inviting couples to treat themselves and their partners with a glass of Pierre Jourdan bubbly on arrival and HQ’s famous salad, steak and chips, followed by a dessert tasting-plate to share for only R550 per couple. (Includes service charge on those items). There will also be live entertainment to set the romantic tone.
If you are yet to visit the restaurant renowned for its steak, the warm, laid back yet sophisticated atmosphere of the lounge area is ideal for an intimate meal, so make sure to book by emailing matt@hqrestaurant.co.za. Just remember, you’ll need to pay in full to secure your booking.
