Lottery fever is in the air – as if you didn’t know already.

Yes, at around midnight tonight the Powerball draw will happen and the kitty now sits at $1,5 billion (R25 billion). Allow yourself to dream a little and get your tickets HERE, then sit back and imagine telling your boss to get stuffed as you moonwalk out of the office.

So every time I see one of these I always feel kinda bad for laughing but oh well, here’s HollywoodLife with more:

Cooks, servers and bartenders of an Englewood Cliffs restaurant [New Jersey] all joined together for a massive celebration after the last Powerball number was read aloud. Their ticket had matched every single digit, meaning they had won the unbelievable $900 million dollar prize! Except, there was just this one little issue they overlooked.

Always double-check the dates. The workers at Grissini’s Restaurant in New Jersey learned that the hard way…They went in on an office pool to purchase lottery tickets for the Jan. 09 Powerball drawing. So, naturally, they were on pins and needles to see if they would take home the record-breaking jackpot and for a moment, it looked like they did! However, they failed to realize right away that they read the numbers for the drawing that took place on Jan. 06 by accident.

Luckily I didn’t hear anyone screaming that they had quit their jobs or hurling insults at co-workers. A better bunch of people than me then…
