If you live life down here in the Cape (or pile in over summer) you will, at one stage or another, head to the winelands of Stellies and Franschhoek for a spot of tasting.
By tasting we mean drinking of course, no use wasting all that lovely wine when you can just as easily knock it back. The point is that when you factor in all your various costs, transport and a hearty lunch for example, you start to see the day quickly becoming a costly affair.
That’s especially true when you’re doing it all wrong, because if you haven’t heard of the Entertainer app by this time I’m starting to lose hope for you. That video up top gives you an idea of how much money you can save on just one day but, to be frank, that’s really just the tip of the iceberg.
The Entertainer Cape Town 2016 alone includes over 1 540 Buy One Get One Free offers – with total savings of over R1,2 million. This year sees the launch of the new Wineries section featuring offers for dining, wine tasting and attractions at over fifty wine farms in the region.
Savings all year with a few clicks on the app – it doesn’t come easier. Just ask the oke Seth spoke to at the launch jol the other day, he’s rocked up a cool R20k in savings and shows no sign of slowing down.
