Royal Marines Have Been Making Sex Tapes On Royal Navy Warships

The Royal Navy has a "no touching" policy onboard its ships, yet males and females share showers.

HMS Diamond was joined by the exhausted birds - nicknamed Gregory Peck and Sir Henry Cecil by sailors on board - as they sailed off the coast of Plymouth, Devon. Despite numerous attempts to get the pair to fly away, they refused to leave until the end of the 135 mile journey to Portsmouth, Hants. So the ship's company, taking a shine to their new feathered friends, built them a perch, a box, and bedding, turning the quarterdeck into a makeshift pigeon sanctuary. Navigating officer Lieutenant Eleanor Tilley sought approval from her commanding officer before capturing the first bird. The second arrived on the flight deck of the 500-foot long, 1billion pounds ship two days later.

A sailor and a chef, sitting on a boat, k-i-s-s-i-n-g… Yup, that’s how childish this story is:

When a young female Royal Navy sailor and chef Scott Furber began flirting while aboard the HMS Diamond, little did she know that they would end up having sex a little while later. Or that he would film it.

So when rumours started flying about the video, the young sailor’s boss queried her on the incident and she was, apparently, completely unaware.

Here’s what prosecutor Major David Whittaker had to say:

He (Scott) said they had discussed it earlier in the day, they agreed to have sex and agreed to film it, he was adamant she had agreed. He denied showing it to anyone.

She agreed to meet the defendant in the shower on board for consensual sex to take place. She arrived in the shower and saw the defendant was already there and sexual activity did take place.

Unknown to her when the defendant had arrived in the shower ahead of her, he had put his iPhone on a shelf and recorded the sexual activity.

The recording only came to light in October that year when the defendant was quizzed about it by colleagues and a superior officer became aware of the incident.

Eventually having to deny voyeurism in relation to the incident on the ship while at Limassol, Cyprus in June last year, Scott at first denied that he had even taken the recording, saying that the only recording on his phone was that of his fiancée. Whooops.

Later, he admitted that he had in fact taken a recording, but that the alleged victim had agreed.

He said he had lied initially because he was embarrassed this had come to light and didn’t realise the severity. He said it was just a bit of fun.

He said they had discussed it earlier in the day, they agreed to have sex and agreed to film it, he was adamant she had agreed. He denied showing it to anyone.

Her side of the story? Apparently the two had begun their flirtatious adventure on the beaches of Cyprus while having a few drinks and Scott had applied sunscreen to her back. So friskey. Then…

We had flirted through WhatsApp text messages and arranged to have sex on board later.

He had it figured out, he said ‘come and meet me’ at a certain time in the shower, we shared showers, male female, where we were living on board. He said ‘the end shower’, he said, ‘I will be waiting’, he said, ‘just give a knock on the door’.

When she was eventually informed that the incident had been filmed,

I was shocked, completely shocked and it had made me feel horrible, violated.

And so the saga continues…
