Since El Chapo’s recapture days ago, the connection between the Mexican drug lord and Sean Penn have created rumours that have spread like wildfire. Penndejo – he has a thing for South American politics – interviewed Joaquin Guzman back in August which has led it being suspected that he led law enforcement to the arrest.
Now, government surveillance photos that have been released, showing law enforcement tracking Penndejo’s moves from the moment he stepped of the airplane just before his notorious meeting.
The pics show Sean along with the actress who got him the interview with El Chapo, Kate del Castillo, arriving at Guadalajara International Airport and connecting with members of El Chapo’s inner circle.
Yet there are still no solid facts about the incident – after all, El Chapo was released months after the interview at his home in Mexico. We will just have to wait and see.
