Just the other day one of my oldest friends decided that earning pounds was better than living the life in Cape Town. I constantly tune her because, well, she loves the sun and the UK can be quite shit.
However, at the end of the day, she isn’t the only one to choose the Union Jack and this map of central London proves that. Representing the different nationalities present in the capital, the map reveals how the city of London is dominated by swathes of non-Brits. Compiled by the Daily Mail, South African expats dominate Wandsworth (never heard of it) where 28.1% of the population are South African-born.
Basically, there are a lot of people from India, followed by people from Bangladesh, Nigeria, Poland and Turkey each had the highest numbers in at least three areas.
The highest proportion of foreign-born Londoners are found in Brent and Haringey at 53.3%, followed by Kensington and Chelsea with 51.8% and Westminster with 50.9%.
At least you’ll feel at home if you decide to leave. Twat.
